Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

In 30 years of psychotherapy practice, I have acquired skills for most specialty areas. My training in sex therapy (1980-81) with Masters & Johnson at their Biological Research Foundation in St. Louis has given me a significant edge in working with couples. Intimacy is almost always an issue with couples in therapy. I am well trained and experienced in professionally addressing both physical and emotional intimacy issues, trauma, depression, stress, infidelity and anxiety.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

People who seek therapy and commit themselves to it usually become emotionally stronger, more aware of how they have been influenced (positively/negatively) by their upbringing and events in their life and, of course, ultimately, more effective in their relationships and daily life.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I consider my work to be my vocation. I feel privileged to be a psychotherapist. People choose to trust me, tell me their most intimate feelings and my training enables me to provide them with help that will enable them to move forward in their life.
