My Approach to Helping
My philosophy has always been that people do the best they can in life but that sometimes there are bumps along the way that interfere with our happiness. Anxiety, depression, relationship issues, phobias, and unresolved or complicated grief are just a few of the many reasons people seek help. Because I have a genuine belief that change is always possible, when someone even considers getting counseling it tells me they are ready to take on the responsibility of pursuing a more purposeful life. To facilitate this, I offer a safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment through which you can fully examine those areas of life that are causing you distress.

Through a collaborative relationship in which you are empowered to discover your hidden strengths, together we can explore the changes you wish to make in order to live a more fulfilling, satisfying, and meaningful existence.

My Role as a Therapist

Every person I have ever met has strengths that are unique to them. When an individual, couple or family are searching for answers to some of life's more vexing problems, I know that they already are on their way to making changes. My role as a therapist is to help people explore what areas of their lives have stopped them from moving forward and enjoying the life they want to live.
