My Approach to Helping
My approach as a therapist is friendly and kind. I work with "people" not "patients" and draw from the years of training and my own experience in order to serve you. I see my function as an advocate for an individual, a couple, or a family. In this advocacy work, I help you get clearer within yourself so that your own knowing can emerge.
I strongly believe that finding the right therapist is important for you so I offer a free 15 minute "meet and greet" if you care to interview me to see if I might be a good fit for you.
More Info About My Practice
I offer sliding scale fees for service and reduced rates for graduate level counseling students. Currently, I accept Tri-West and Memorial Health System insurance.
What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
I have deep gratitude for the unique relationship that I have with people and families in this community. To be let into the intimate parts of the lives of others, is humbling and extraordinary. I am passionate about helping others open to feel more love and joy in their lives so that they might connect more deeply with others. This feels like activist work to me...world peace happens one person at a time.
