My Approach to Helping
Are you feeling unsure about how to handle new situations or resolve old problems? Feeling beaten down or overwhelmed by life? Do even small bumps in the road cause significant distress? I want to provide a safe, collaborative environment for you to talk through problems, get authentic feedback, and make positive changes. In our work together, you can expect personalized support in achieving wellness through attention to the interconnected spheres of mind, body, spirit, and relationships. To address your unique needs, I tailor my work using research-supported treatments, including interpersonal therapy, CBT, mindfulness training, emotional-focused therapy, and EMDR.

Sometimes life doles out difficulties that are more than we can handle alone in this fast-paced world. I specialize in trauma/PTSD, anxiety, and diversity (sexual orientation, culture, gender, spirituality). I can also help with depression, life transitions, relationships, grief/loss, and body image.

I provide personality/diagnostic assessments to improve therapy results and aid in finding your niche in the world. On a community level, I also provide workshops and training presentations on a variety of topics such as diversity awareness, stress management, relationship skills, assertiveness skills, helping skills, burnout, and grief/loss.
