My Approach to Helping
I work to establish a collaborative relationship with each of my clients; accepting the client's need for comfort, understanding, and guidance, while equally encouraging the client's independence. I bring a mindfulness approach to my psychotherapy practice, emphasizing an open, accepting, and non-judgmental awareness of oneself in the moment. By bringing awareness and compassion to a person's thoughts and feelings, clients are able to deepen their understanding of themselves and create more meaningful relationships in the world.
