Jennifer is a professional writer, wife, mother, and dog owner. She has over two decades of personal experience with mental health issues and has benefited from therapies of various kinds to address her own issues, including depression, self-esteem, and life purpose. She grew up in a family that was familiar with attention-deficit hyperactivity and has learned much about the challenges this presents while raising a son with ADHD. She has experienced divorce, grief, blended family, and meaning-of-life issues, and considers herself to be an ever-changing and improving work in progress.
