My Approach to Helping

The Sonoran Healing Center focuses on treating people struggling with dependency issues, both behavioral as well as chemical, from a core belief that people can and do recover from addictions when they are willing to follow a proven process and simply "Do the things they need to do so that they don't do the things they don't need to do."

I am a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) trained by Patrick Carnes - author of "Out of the Shadows." I also worked for two years as a primary counselor for the sexual compulsivity group at the Meadows in Wickenburg, Arizona. In that time I was supervised by Pia Mellody and Maureen Canning. My work had been greatly influenced by these nationally known and respected professionals.
