I have successfully helped clients heal from anxiety disorders, panic attacks, phobias, intense grief, behavioral disorders, dysfunctional relationships, trauma symptoms and eating disorders. I have 24 years of clinical experience and was the Director of a licensed out-patient clinic for 10 years. I use a variety of clinical techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy and psychoanalytic therapy based on your needs. In addition, I am certified in cognitive behavioral therapy and in hypnotherapy as well.

I know entering therapy is a difficult decision to make but I can assure you that if you decide to take the journey of therapy with me you will be glad you did. I believe that happiness is every human being's birthright and I will help you claim this happiness and put an end to your pain. Many clients have told me that they feel a reduction from stress from the minute they enter my office. My office is conveniently located in the Marine Park Section of Brooklyn. It is newly remodeled and tastefully furnished with comfortable leather seating. There is also an on-site parking lot. I am a provider for most insurance plans including HIP, GHI, CIGNA, Magellan, Emblem Health, Value Options, Blue Cross Blue Shield and have a sliding fee scale for the uninsured. Enjoying 24 years of professional practice and being a Director of a licensed out-patient mental health clinic for many years I am skilled at treating clients suffering with a wide variety of symptoms and disorders. I use a holistic approach in treatment and use a variety of therapeutic techniques based on my client's needs. I have found that a combination of techniques including those from cognitive behavioral therapy, the object relations model and the psycho-dynamic model work exceptionally well with clients suffering from anxiety and depression. I am a certified Hypnotherapist and clients have found hypnotherapy as a positive addition to their therapy. Hypnotherapy can be a helpful adjunct in improving self-esteem, gaining fulfillment in one's career and personal relationships. Clients have also found hypnotherapy as a highly effective method in treating addictive disorders including smoking and overeating. I also have enjoyed many years of helping couples considering divorce heal their marriages. By honestly exploring their expectations, needs and feelings in a safe and nurturing therapeutic environment, many couples have not only decided to stay married but celebrate the happiness they experience in their marriages on a daily basis. Providing systemic family therapy is also a passion of mine. I believe that when one family member is in pain the whole family is suffering. My clients have reported a rapid relief from their suffering while in family therapy.
