My Approach to Helping
In my practice, I help people overcome their personal obstacles to change. Together, we identify those issues which we can change and those that we can accept. In the past 12 years, I have helped people create healthy movement in their lives and to develop a balanced design for living that can serve as a foundation for years to come. I strive to provide an atmosphere that is respectful and safe. It is very important to me that clients know that they have a voice in the treatment process so that the treatment is individualized to meet their needs.

More Info About My Practice
I have been maintaining a thriving private practice in the Twin Cities for the past 5 years. In addition to private practice, I am currently the Clinical Director for Assistance in Recovery, and an adjunct faculty member at the School of Social Work for St. Thomas and St. Catherine's University and was one of the founding faculty for the Interprofessional Center for Counseling and Legal services providing free services to immigrants, the homeless and other disenfranchised communities. I am privileged to work in many aspects of the mental and chemical health communities, including community mental health, HIV/AIDS prevention, medical and psychiatric hospitals and treatment centers.
