My Approach to Helping
Most of us seek psychotherapy because we feel stuck and need help in finding a resolution. We seek a therapeutic relationship during times of uncertainty, when life seems overwhelming, or at a time when we yearn for more meaning and purpose in our lives. The most important step towards attaining inner peace and balance is a willingness to begin to understand how our individual history manifests itself through our relationships and the ways in which it affects our ability to cope with stress and conflict. The willingness to look inside oneself is an essential component in healing. We can restructure our lives when we have the willingness to explore and embrace these experiences in a respectful manner. We have the power to create a fuller life by replacing judgment with compassion, emptiness with joyful living, and embracing the opportunities in our lives to strengthen the intrinsic qualities of who we really are while finding more joy in our everyday life.

I am a soul-centered therapist who will listen to your concerns with a caring and empathetic heart and treat you with respect and compassion. I recognize that each person is unique and I provide a therapeutic relationship that is attuned to you. My practice is based on building on your strengths and supporting you in identifying the learning and healing opportunities that are present with your situation. I believe that there is value in even the most difficult circumstances. When these circumstances are approached with an openness to learning, major transformations can take place.  This leads to a more accepting and confident experience of yourself and greater inner peace. My psychotherapy practice is rooted in Heartfelt Therapy providing you guidance and support in living life with greater trust, gratitude, and hopefulness.

Together, we will set goals and form a collaboration to assist you in making positive changes, resolving emotional distress, sustaining inner peace, and bringing more fun and joy into your life. No one can change what has already happened, but you can influence and determine your future by healing and releasing past challenges behind while consciously creating a life filled with heart-felt desires, enthusiasm, and positive, loving interactions with others. I look forward to serving you and accompanying you on your therapeutic journey.

My Therapy Focus

Spiritual Psychotherapy is an approach in support of awakening intuition and the development of the whole human being. It is based upon the concept of life as a school within which the soul - the unique individual being - grows in partnership with all of evolution. The study of Spiritual Psychotherapy opens many doors to a working appreciation of "Man Know Thyself". Spiritual psychotherapy goes deeper than conventional forms of psychotherapy because it helps you attune to and release bound emotional pain from the body, energy system and causal level of consciousness. This heals the chronic fragmentations in your own being and between yourself and the environment, and helps remove the obstacles to spiritual realization. Correct diagnosis and treatment cannot be made without spiritual awareness because we are spiritual beings. Whether we like it, not, whether we acknowledge it, or not, we are spiritual beings. We are not merely human beings, intellectual beings, emotional beings, social beings, and physical beings. People seek deliverance from their assumed victimization by outside forces. Spiritual Psychotherapy assists one in seeing through the myth of victimization by the realization that we are unconsciously creating our own suffering and symptoms for a good reason. The client assumes that responsibility for his/her painful symptomatic experiences means that he/she is to blame and resists this self-blame by the attempt to reassure him/herself that outside force.
