My Approach to Helping

Sometimes the first step to getting help is admitting that help is needed. If you are viewing profiles on this website then you might be ready to accept change in your life. My role as a counselor is to provide direction as to a decision or a course of action. Beyond this, part of my role is to also challenge you and to help you achieve the changes or goals that you may be seeking. Therapy in itself means establishing a therapeutic relationship with a counselor; furthermore, the act of engaging in therapy may often lead to better relationships in your own life, solutions to specific problems, and significant reductions in feelings of distress.
