My Approach to Helping
I am an expressive arts therapist, integrating all the arts (music, drama, poetry, dance, sculpture, masks, etc) into the therapeutic process. I view the work through a "rite of passage" lens, reframing symptoms and difficulties into challenges and opportunities.
No artistic talent or experience is necessary. I emphasize the process in a safe, non-judgmental enviromnent. All ages welcome -- not just for kids!
The arts work simultaneously to contain and transform powerful material from the depths of our selves.
