My Approach to Helping
Personal concerns and challenging relationships are common problems that we all can face at some point. I work to be respectful and compassionate. I work with couples, individuals, and families. For couples I provide a more safe and constructive environment to discuss difficult topics. I help couples improve communication which leads to closeness, deepens understanding and reduces emotional reactivity. I also help couples prepare for marriage through an educational format.
I work with individuals with such issues as anxiety and stress, grief and loss, parenting and relationship issues, separation and divorce adjustment.
More Info About My Practice
For families, I provide a structured environment to allow all members to feel included in the treatment process. I specialize in children and adolescent issues, behavior concerns, parenting, self-esteem concerns, substance use, and disordered eating.
I know that many of us have incredibly busy schedules so I offer extra evening hours and weekends to help you get the support you need.
