My Approach to Helping
I am a positive, down-to-earth counselor who will support your efforts toward change or healing in a gentle, encouraging way. I specialize in working with people who are experiencing life changes related to college, work, relationships/dating, family, parenting, or grief/loss.

Many of the people I see are highly motivated, smart, fun, caring individuals who have had an array of meaningful experiences and adventures in their lives. They are mostly doing fine, but are struggling with an issue, challenge, or loss and want to take proactive steps to get back in balance and feel happy and like themselves again. They are interested in learning all they can about themselves and their experiences in order to grow and live a conscious, fully-awake life. They want to feel happier, get more energy, feel deeply connected to their loved ones, work toward goals, and learn to make decisions by listening to their gut and heart. They are always striving to improve and grow as people, and they use therapy to continue this journey. In addition to working with adults, I also work with couples who love each other and want to make things work but are dealing with challenges, arguing a lot, or feeling frustrated by parts of their relationship. I help couples identify and work through problems, communicate in healthier ways, and reduce stress.

Some of the issues I help people address include relationships/dating, college/work issues, having a family, parenting, losing a parent or loved one, being diagnosed with an illness or disability, or moving. If you would like a free phone consultation to see if my services would be a good fit for you, please call me, e mail me, or visit my website. I look forward to hearing from you. Take care, Erin
