My Approach to Helping
Have you ever wondered why we face so many challenges in life? Do you contemplate the reasons behind those challenges and question how to work through them?

Or, do you desire solutions that will empower and cultivate your sense of self in your life and your business? Would you like to become stronger and more capable of achieving your life goals?

If so, we can work together to bring more inner happiness to your life and achieve the goals you aspire to.

Challenges and frustrations happen to everyone and they are impossible to avoid. But, how are we supposed to deal with them? How do we move forward and grow during a time that can seem so daunting or dismal? Personally, I have endured my own extensive circumstances of suffering and yearning for personal growth, and I now know how valuable counseling can be in finding discovery, understanding, and inner happiness when working through your road blocks.

With sincere compassion and genuine care, I am an approachable and experienced Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (#IMH-10124) in the State of Florida and am the owner of Be Well Within, LLC.

My company, Be Well Within, LLC, is a counseling and coaching service dedicated to helping others heal and grow through personal analysis and alternative solutions to modern medicine. I take on an eclectic approach with her counseling, specializing in cognitive behavioral, existential, family systems, gestalt, and mindfulness therapies.

I hold a Master's Degree in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University and a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. In addition, my personal circumstances of dealing with the loss of my mother, the loss of friends from accident and illness, the loss of beloved pets, family substance abuse, and family anxiety disorders have motivated me to help others work through lifes challenges and provide a more positive environment for those around them.

It is the combination of my professional work, educational background, and personal experience that makes me the considerate, knowledgeable and mindful counselor and coach I am today. Let's work together to bring more inner happiness to your life now.

What I Usually Need to Know to Help

I have the clients fill out a history form so that I can learn a little more about their family and their history. In the first session we will talk about what brought them into therapy and what they expect out of therapy. I also will ask if they have had experience in the past with therapists, and if so what was the experience and reason they went. I like to make the therapy process as much about the client as possible, and I want them to have the input and see what they expect and wish to gain.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

I believe that therapy does not have that stigma that it did have for so long, years ago. Therapy has evolved over the years as the school of thought about going to see a therapist. People don't hesitate to go to a medical doctor to help them if they have a cold or another illness, but if they are stressed or other ailment they sometimes hesitate going to a therapist. Going to see a therapist could be one of the best things that you do for your over all health, and self care. It is nice to talk to a neutral party that will have advice and knowledge on the issues that may be troubling you that you may not be able to seek from family or friends.

Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist

I believe it is important for the client to call and talk to different therapists before choosing the therapist they want. I offer a free 30 minute phone consultation as I feel that is a good way to get to know the therapist before you make the appointment. The client should also look at the different profiles to see if they have experience working with the issues they are coming in to therapy for.
