Emotional Resonance and Healing the Body
Presented by Christopher Diggins, MA LMHC

Web Conference Description

We learn primarily through experience, through felt sense, sensation and emotion, not intellect. This conference will give information about what you can do as a therapist to enhance your own growth as a human being and a therapist and to promote healing in your clients. This learning will be you "experiencing" in your body how you can create emotional safety in your sessions. We will do that through sharing information, experiencing sensation and emotion, and emotional resonance. We will be feeling deeply and tuning into each others emotional being. This will be a whole range of emotion from deep sadness to celebration and rejoicing.

Christopher Diggins, MA LMHC

Christopher Diggins, MA LMHC, has been in private practice, Certified, and Licensed in Washington State since 1991 and has been a counselor in a variety of settings since 1984. He started studying psychology because he was fascinated with the work of Carl Jung and his writings about the Collective Unconscious. He was compelled to learn about this commonality and how he could become more aware and involved. His M.A. in Transpersonal Psychology is the study of the Self, the Self beyond the ego or personality. He believes that in order to access this Self we must develop mindfulness and awareness which allows us to access the body sensations and emotions, the key to spiritual and emotional growth.
