My Approach to Helping
I believe that all people have the capacity to experience some level of peace and happiness in their life. Through a belief in a higher power, acceptance of certain life situations, and working on things that are within our control, we can learn to coexist peacefully with others and with what life hands us whether we deserve it or not. The serenity prayer, "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know difference" is an excellent perspective to have when dealing with life's occurrences. Every day is a gift and a journey and we never stop learning. By taking that approach to life, we open our spirits, heart, and mind to continue to grow. We give ourselves permission to make mistakes, learn from them, and move on. We allow ourselves to love and be loved. By treating each and every client with respect and seeing the whole person and not just their issue, I am better able to assist people in learning to cope and accept certain parts of life as they continue to work towards the goals they hope to achieve in life. Every New Day is a New Beginning!
More Info About My Practice
Currently I am a provider on Compsych's Insurance panel. My fee is $60.00 an hour. I accept cash and/or checks. I am accepting new clients at this time. Availability is generally in the late afternoon to early evening hours. Please call/email to inquire.
