My Approach to Helping
Earl is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (L.C.S.W.) in private practice at Adult and Child Counseling & Psychiatric Center in Satellite Beach, Florida. He is certified as a sex therapist (C.S.T.) and an e-therapist (C.E.T.) by State of Florida review boards. He has also met the Department of Transportation's criteria to practice as a qualified substance abuse professional (S.A.P.). He interlaces these licenses and certifications to meet your needs whether it be in individual, couples or family counseling.
Earl's approach with you or your family member is to identify what you want to be different in your life and where you are in relation to being there. He believes that everybody has the internal resources to change and views you as the expert on yourself. His goal is to help you find solutions and take baby steps toward achieving your desired changes.
Earl had developed an no nonsense, tell it like it is approach to counseling that does not spend time dredging up the past or spending time talking about the past. This approach focuses on solutions for today and the future and keeps you on your new path while discouraging looking back because you are not going that way. His approach coupled with the comfortable surroundings in his office and his calm, relaxed mannerisms provide you with a safe, non-threatening environment for your challenging journey. This results in a solution-focused experience that moves toward the fulfilling life you deserve.
In addition to meeting client's in his office Earl has been providing telephone and online counseling and coaching world-wide since 2001. You can find more information about his online services by visiting his web site.
