I am a neuropsychologist who specializes in clinical neuropsychology and clinical psychology with two convenient offices in Manhattan: Midtown West and Midtown East. I treat individuals with central nervous system disorders affecting cognitive, emotional, social, and occupational functioning. I also treat individuals with problems in living (relationship and work-related issues), psychosomatic disorders (stress-related diseases), bariatric and fitness for duty evaluations, neuropsychological (brain-related) and psychological workups, 504 accommodations for school placement, as well as pain management.

I am a candidate for diplomate status in clinical neuropsychology (ABCN/ABPP, American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology of the American Board of Professional Psychology) and licensed for the professional practice of psychology in New York State since 1991. I was formerly on the graduate and doctoral faculties of Adelphi University and New York University and the undergraduate faculty at City University of New York (tenured, 2001).

Dr Seitz also performs neuropsychological workups and treats children and adults with language and autistic spectrum disorders; attentional deficits and learning disabilities; memory and cognitive problems; traumatic brain injury, epilepsy, and stroke; dementia and intellectual decline in adults and the elderly; as well as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and other central nervous system disorders (e.g., anxiety, depression, OCD) that affect cognitive, emotional, social, and occupational functioning. In addition, Dr Seitz performs neurocognitive rehabilitation for brain injury, bariatric surgery evaluations, fitness for duty evaluations, evaluations of patients in need of 504 accommodations (e.g., extended time for testing) or medically unexplained psychosomatic disorders, management of pain and post-traumatic stress disorder, as well as treating career and relationship issues using some of the latest techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and couples therapy (Gottman method).
