My Approach to Helping
If you are struggling with feelings of sadness or are overwhelmed by the challenges life has thrown your way, the office is open and I am here to help. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, my mission is to help children, families, and individuals grow, thrive, and reach their fullest potential. I work with a diverse range of people and take a supportive and empathic approach to address each person's unique needs. From the start of therapy, I will work together with you to help address any issues that you decide to bring into the room. Together, we will identify the positives and build on your areas of strength. Throughout the therapeutic process you will have an empathic partner who allows you to lead the way while walking alongside to provide you with the guidance and support you need. With children, I take a developmental, holistic, and family-oriented approach. I have experience working with a variety of issues, from relatively minor adjustment problems to more severe behavioral challenges. I also have specialized training in infant mental health with issues that include trauma, sensory regulation difficulties, socialization problems, developmental delays, and behavioral struggles. As I always ask from the start: How may I help you?
