LifeWork Counseling: Solutions That Work! Finding solutions that work is not simply a catchy phrase. Rather, it is the mission of my counseling practice. Counseling is a collaborative process I enter with my clients to assist them in finding solutions to the concerns they want to address. At LifeWork we help our clients facing personal difficulties find solutions that work. Our highly professional and compassionate counselors use evidenced-based standards in practice. As licensed professionals, we are highly qualified to treat an array of mental health concerns including anxiety and mood disorders,addictions, grief loss, marital and family concerns.

LifeWork Counseling is a private practice serving the residents of Oak Brook, Hinsdale and surrounding areas. Situated in a private, wooded area in Old Oak Brook, our unique facility provides a quiet, tranquil setting for our clients. What sets LifeWork Counseling apart from other counseling centers is a combination of ambiance and quality care. Our facility is a renovated home nestled on a 5 acre wooded area surrounded by forest. Our clients often arrive early to relax and enjoy the view or sit by the fireplace. Counseling can take the form of an individual setting, couples, or entire families. We treat all ages and employ a variety of techniques to promote change. Creative interventions are used to engage children and teenagers in therapy including play, drama, media, and narrative approaches.

An area of great concern today is people who don't know how to break out of negative communication patterns. It impacts their marriages, parent-child relationships, friendships, and/or working relationships. I am gifted in the area of helping people understand each other. Whether its couples in conflict or a parent-child struggle, I am able to see the negative patterns people get locked into, and help them learn how to understand each other and work together to build a mutually respectful and caring relationship.
