My Approach to Helping
I provide psychological services to individuals, couples and families of all ages who are coping with issues across the lifespan. I use therapeutic approaches that are demonstrated to be effective based on the latest research. I use an integrative approach, combining cognitive-behavioral principles with insight-oriented, as well as marital and family therapies.

I view each person holistically, and provide individualized interventions within a supportive relationship. I help individuals understand what underlies their behaviors to help them gain insights into themselves and make lasting changes in their lives.

I specialize in relationship issues, coping with medical illnesses, making health behavior and lifestyle changes, and dealing with life stress and transitions, including grief and loss, marriage, separation & divorce, work stress, and other life changes. And I treat a range of psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, and ADHD.

I am certified in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, have had extensive training in health psychology and bereavement counseling for both adults and children, and have both worked and published in the areas of women's health and ADHD.
