My Approach to Helping

It is my belief that most people could benefit from having a caring, nonjudgmental, trusting confidante with whom to share problems and concerns when life's issues have blocked their progress. I help others discover their answers so that goals may be set and a new path or direction is discovered. I help them restore hope and meaning to their lives as they discover greater resilience in coping with, and working through, difficult times. Often, I teach new skills, which clients must be willing to practice to replace habits and methods that were no longer working. Irrational beliefs may be confronted and new choices made so that problems are solved and a better life attained.

Many insurances are accepted, but not Medicare or Medicaid. We will submit bill to your insurance, but copay, with deductibles met, must be made in form of cash or check at each appointment. If pre-authorization is required, please obtain that information prior to your first appointment.
