My Approach to Helping
Through deep exploration, individuals gain insight into their internal world, learn to accept and feel compassion for all of themselves and create a sense of balance and peace within. My therapeutic style is caring, encouraging and individualized in order to help each person learn skills to work with their emotions, see situations without judgment and make life decisions that are aligned with personal values. I work with individuals to heal their deepest wounds allowing them to feel clear, empowered and alive. It is her goal to help each individual bring the work from the session to the world, creating a greater sense of focus, confidence and direction in their lives.

I specialize in individual and group psychotherapy for adolescents and adults. My style is eclectic, incorporating Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Internal Family Systems, psychodynamic and Jungian approaches.

Areas of specialty:

I provide individual and group Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to adults and teens who are struggling to manage their emotions, make and maintain healthy relationships and cope with painful events. Individuals work to overcome negative judgments about self or others, work with feelings of frustration, anger, anxiety or sadness in order to more fully appreciate the present moment.

I also provide individual and group Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS). Through this therapy, individuals gain insight into their inner world and learn how their mind and body work to protect them.
