Diana Brawley is a licensed clinical social worker who works with teens, couples, men and women struggling with the devaluation of self, depression, anxiety, anger, grief and overwhelming life transitions. Diana is also a Presbyterian clergy person. She aims to live with courage and commits to use her training and gifts to help others do the same. Her eclectic approach includes psychodynamic (connecting the painful past with current problems), cognitive (helping reframe negative beliefs about self and circumstances), narrative therapy (where our identities are shaped by the accounts of our lives in our stories) and a solution focused therapy, at all times building on the unique strengths of each individual. Diana Brawley is passionately interested in the nexus of spiritual, mental and physical health.

How much is your fee? Do you accept insurance? Do you use a sliding scale?
Diana Brawley does not accept insurance. During the initial session, Diana will discuss the fee adjustment schedule that is based on the gross annual household income. This rate is often 50% lower than other counselors in the Charlottesville area. This is made possible by subsidies from the greater community or the agency.
