Zen-oriented hypnotherapy helps to improve self-confidence, stress management, habit control such as weight loss and smoking cessation, and personal development - Self-hypnosis and meditation techniques taught. In my consultations I teach my clients how to use meditation and self-hypnosis techniques to transform the way he/she views him/herself. Sessions begin by establishing the client's commitment to transform the way he/she takes responsibility for dealing with any underlying issues. The intent of this technique is to assist the client become more self-dependent and less therapist dependent. I support the view that most stress-related problems need to be regarded as opportunities to grow, develop and integrate the personality so that the individual can lead a more rewarding life.
