My Approach to Helping
Is your life weighed down from sadness, worry, stress or conflict? Are you and your spouse or partner constantly arguing? Do you feel stuck and have lost hope of improvement? If you answered yes then it is time to consider that change is possible. In an environment that is caring, compassionate, supportive and respectful I will work with you to address the issues that are negatively impacting the quality of your life.
I provide mental health services to individuals and relationship counseling to couples in St. Paul, Minneapolis and surrounding areas. My license as a Certified Public Accountant makes me uniquely qualified to provide financial therapy that addresses persistent financial problems and resulting challenges. Prior experience as a volunteer counselor at the Sexual Violence Center has provided an understanding of the issues faced by sexual assault survivors.
I offer a free consultation over the phone or in person. Call today to schedule an appointment.
More Info About My Practice
Therapy is a collaborative effort. I approach therapy as if you are an active participant in your own treatment. During the initial session we will be doing an intake. I will be asking you questions in order to understand your issues and identify the strengths you already have that can help you address them. We will then formulate a plan on how to tackle the challenges you are facing. Throughout therapy we will review how our work is progressing and revise the goals if needed. Remember that the sessions are for you, so we will address the issues you feel are most important.
Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Preferred One as well as Medical Assistance are accepted. A sliding fee schedule is available to those who qualify.
