My Approach to Helping
I know it can be an emotional jungle out there! But, rest assured, you don't have to deal with those lions and tigers and bears all by yourself. Going it alone isn't necessary and only prolongs the pain. Who needs that? If you could have made things better by now, you would have, right?
Call me. I help people who want something better in their lives -- who want to embrace something new, resolve an issue, or just feel better about themselves and the relationships they have with others -- in or out of the workplace.
If this describes you, and you're wondering whether therapy with me can make a difference for you, let's talk. I won't charge for our first appointment. There are no strings attached. You've got absolutely nothing to lose.
Mine is a general practice. I work on coupling/uncoupling issues, self-esteem, confidence, depression, anxiety, trust, worry, and grief. I consider career/workplace challenges among my specialties. Another area of specialization is working with individuals and families living with traumatic illness, injury, and disability like Alzheimer's, ALS, MS, arthritis, and PTSD. Bottom line, I'm here to help, and I don't succeed unless you do.
More Info About My Practice
The miles don't have to be a barrier to getting help. If you're a road warrior, home-bound (limited by caregiving or mobility challenges), dealing with long-distance relationships, or just prefer to meet online, let's see if it makes sense to have Skype sessions. Just ask!
While I do not directly affiliate with any insurance panels or managed care networks, your therapy could be covered by insurance if your plan provides reimbursement for services delivered by 'out-of-network' providers. Check my website for questions to ask your insurance carrier so you can make an informed decision about therapy.
