I will tell you this much and that is that I am not only a therapist but an individual just like you. I believe that relationships are at the core of all we do and often the reason we seek guidance or consultation. Whether that relationship be with a spouse, parent, sibling or self. Therapy is a relationship and without that relationship all the theories and strategies mentioned in this profile will be minimized. As your therapist I will take the time to get to know you and allow you to get to know me as a therapist. By engaging in therapy you have invited me into your life and it is my job to make sure that the therapy relationship fostered is one of collaboration and mutual problem solving. Because in the end people are not the problem but the patterns in the relationships are the problems.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon. I have been in the behavioral health field for 24 years and have practiced with teenagers and their families in residential treatment, hospitals and outpatient clinics. My practice focuses on teenagers and their families, adults and couples with a wide range of issues. I am registered with the Council on Affordable Quality Healthcare and a former Board Member of the Oregon Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. I have been married 24 years and have two teenage daughters.
