My Approach to Helping
I view therapy as a relationship that client and therapist choose to enter into for the sake of treating specific issues as well as to engage the deeper issues of the client's life. I believe that people are best understood by looking at their interactions with others. In our process together, we will explore how past relationships have impacted your patterns of relating in the present. We will also seek greater awareness of what is occurring between the two of us during our therapy sessions.

More Info About My Practice
I prefer to work on a weekly basis with clients. The fee for individual therapy is $100 per 50-minute session. If you are having difficulty with finances, I do have a sliding scale available.

If you have health insurance, I will provide the necessary information for you to submit to your insurance company together with the forms that they can provide to you. I do not file insurance claims myself.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

In addition to working with the general community, I specialize in working with chronic illness, women's issues and artists. I work with clients with chronic illness to look at areas of loss, hope, focus, and emotional self-care. I work with women in areas of work/relational life balance, singleness, fertility, miscarriage, pregnancy, parenting, and other issues. I also specialize in counseling artists. I enjoy partnering with artists to help them stay balanced and focused.
