My Approach to Helping

Sharing our personal struggles with an objective and supportive psychologist can be one of the most personally rewarding things we can do for ourselves. And, for me, it has been an honor to help others with their personal growth.
As a psychologist, I have served South Pasadena and surrounding areas (Pasadena, San Marino, Alhambra, and Los Angeles) for over 20 years, the last 12 years with Fair Oaks Medical in South Pasadena.
Although I have helped people with nearly every imaginable concern, most of my clients have been adults and couples with relationship or employment concerns. Other specialties include individual psychotherapy, adjustment to chronic illness, legal concerns, career counseling, addiction (including alcohol, drugs, gambling, therft, and internet), marriage counseling (including communication, infertility, infidelity and intimacy concerns), parenting difficulties, and written psychological evaluations. I also help people with the "psychology of money" including chronic financial "mismanagement". Psychological evaluations are available for most concerns when needed, and I am available for consultations with other professionals and with interns seeking professional licensure. More Info About My Practice

For your convenience, I am available six days per week including most evenings and Saturdays. And, for pressing matters, I can often schedule an appointment the same day you call. If you would like to make an appointment, please call my office or contact me via my confidential email.

Fee Schedule: sliding scale from $130 to $150 per 60-minute hour. Payment is due at the time of service by cash, check, or credit card. However, I do offer discounts for pre-paid cash payments and I do accept some PPO insurance plans after verification of eligibility and benefits.
