My Approach to Helping

I work with clients ages 18 to 70 and above, of diverse ethnic and religious backgrounds, sexual orientation, male, female and transgendered. I work with survivors of sexual and domestic abuse, people experiencing issues with coming out, relationship, communication and intimacy, family of origin, discerning religious life, anxiety, depression, career decisions. I take a holistic approach to practice believing it necessary to heal the mind, body and spirit. I am eclectic in my approach therapeutically drawing from Behavioral, Cognitive, Humanistic, Feminist, Psychodrama and Yogic theories. I incorporate yogic breathing tecniques and practice with treatment when appropriate and welcomed. The location of my practice allows access to reiki, massage, and other holistic services in addition to psychotherapy. I welcome anyone who is really interested in working on themselves and making changes in their life. This is a tough journey and it takes a lot of courage to enter on to it. I believe that you the client are the expert on your story and I bring my experience and expertise to form a healthy, productive therapeutic relationship. My voicemail and email are confidential. I look forward to connecting with you.
