My Approach to Helping

"I've been to counseling, I KNOW it works!" I work hard with clients to help them succeed; but we learn to also laugh about life's twists and turns along the way. Clients often tell me, "I feel comfortable with YOU, because you understand my life's journey so far, and can relate personally to it."

I like to work with individuals in their quest for healthy self-esteem. I like to work with couples to help them heal their disconnections and learn to communicate more effectively. The same tools I use in couple's counseling, my husband and I use in our own 30 yr successful marriage. I like to work with children, teens and parents to help them break negative communication patterns, and learn to understand and communicate with each other better.

I use my skills to listen, encourage, visualize and help clients creatively problem-solve, and communicate more strategically and effectively. I specialize in relationship building and enhancement! For those clients who seek a Christian approach to counseling, I have been a Christian for 40 years and am very comfortable working within that framework. Basically, all clients feel comfortable at our Counseling Service, and have eagerly referred us to their friends/family members for 33 years, in and around the Inland Empire.

Our receptionists will find a time that will fit best for your schedule and mine. They will get your phone no. and I will call you back at the agreed upon time.

We base our fees for counseling on a Sliding Scale per your family's yearly income. The Fee Range is from $60-90 for a one hour session. Cash, Check and Credit Cards are accepted (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, only). We DO NOT accept Insurance Plans. But we do work with a number of Employee Assistance Programs. Check with your employer to see if Genesis Counseling Service is on their list.
