My Approach to Helping
Whether you want to achieve greater self-awareness and/or needing to make any difficult decisions/changes in your life, Christine works collaboratively with you to set-up goals, establish counseling plans while providing guidance within a supportive and non-judgmental environment.

Christine Gatzke is a bilingual (English/French) clinical psychotherapist providing individual, family/couple, group, career counseling/coaching, life coaching, and EAP/EFAP services in-person, telephonically, and online-e-counseling. Obtained her M.Ed. in Counseling, she received post-graduate training in Gestalt Psychotherapy via the Gestalt Institute of Ottawa.

She is also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and CISM/D (Critical Incident Stress Management/Debriefing). In addition, Christine is certified in working with Children and Families via the Hincks-Dellcrest Institute in Toronto. As a Canadian Certified Counselor, Christine specializes and is trained in Adoption, Adoption Reunion and Foster Care Counseling, via The Carlini Institute and Algonquin College. Christine is currently working towards her Dyadic Development Psychotherapy Certification (for attachment issues [RAD], behavioral difficulties, trauma) with Dr. Daniel Hughes. She is certified in Infertility Counseling via Tape Educational Services and is a Certified Life and Career Coach via the Certified Coaches Federation.

Given Christine's mind-body-spirit approach, she is also trained in various complementary therapies, such as Emotional Freedom Techniques (formerly EFT-CC/ADV) and Reiki (Level I, II, and III [Master-Instructor]), Therapeutic Touch (Level I & II), and Integrated Energy Therapy (Level I, II, III) Practitioner. Christine holds a diploma in Holistic Nutritional Therapy through the Natural Health Institutes. An international/national speaker, Christine has and continues to provide seminars and workshops at conferences, for federal and provincial governments, etc.

In providing optimal services to clients, Christine believes in continuing education whether through workshops or courses to provide tools and information suitable for each client, in order for him/her to obtained his/her goals.
