My Approach to Helping
I teach my clients how to become mindful so that they are able to see how they get in their own way by taking their thoughts seriously. We come to respectfully recognize their habits that no longer serve a useful purpose. We look at the roots of these habits for understanding. With the use of Interpersonal Neurobiology, we come to understand how they have drifted out of the flow of life into rigidity, such as depression, or chaos, such as panic. Through my education about the workings of the brain, I can help them to see what needs to be done in order to help change the brain so that they can come to enjoy this incredible journey we are on so that they live their lives in an awakened way as if it really matters, which, of course, it does!
