I know how hard it is to juggle being a mom with living your life. Daily lists and incessant demands can take a toll on us. It begins to feel like every day is a race that we sometimes feel like we?re winning but more so feel like we?re flat out losing. Add mom guilt, the pressure to be perfect, organic food, comparing ourselves to other moms, carseats, constant tough decisions and carpools - it just goes on and on...it?s just too much! These sacrifices begin to build up and can leave us feeling resentful and even lonely at times. When we do take time for ourselves, we often feel guilty.
I teach moms to embrace the imperfect, find their inner RockStar and live happier more fulfilling lives. I?m not here to preach to you about how to ?do it all,? I?m here to help you accept that you simply cannot...and this is good news! I can teach you how to choose what you want to do, do it well, regularly and with passion and joy.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
I can relate to my ideal client. I know what it's like to make yourself sick because of stress. I know what it's like to go to bed after an enormously busy day, with a to do list that hasn't been touched and feeling like you'll never catch up. I've been there...
I knowingly go into the therapeutic relationship never asking my client to try something I haven't tried...whether it worked for me or not! I love learning about how our brains work and how we can trick it in order to make our lives more fulfilled. I love teaching all of these skills to my clients because they actually work and get you really doing every thing you wish you were doing rather than putting it all off or feeling bad about it.
My Therapy Focus
I teach people how to de-stress, stay motivated and stop procrastinating while we work on healthy habits and happy living.
Keeping New Year's Resolutions, and healthy habit formation, without adding stress into your life, is my specialty.
Often, emphasis is placed on breaking bad habits, my focus is a positive one in that, if we focus on deliberate healthy habit formation, bad habits begin to fall away.
We often function in default mode, not knowing where our habits come from or how your brain works in creating them. Motivation is a major player and although we often know how to get motivated, many of us are at a loss in how to stay motivated.
I teach people where to park all of their shoulds and oughts and someday maybes into their life with regularity and without added stress. It's possible, wonderful and quite fun!
