My Approach to Helping
Clients deserve to get what they want. Whether it is relief from anxiety or depression, making more money, changing careers, breaking an addiction, or forming intimate relationships, clear goals are outlined and committed to at the beginning of therapy. Clients set weekly behavioral changes to work on in-between sessions. Cognitively there is a focus on understanding dysfunctional core beliefs and how to correct them, as well as existing strengths and how to broaden them. Clients often get the caring, commitment, and mirroring they need in the therapeutic relationship that they may have missed in their past.

Imago Couples work is available for couples in need of help. Imago Therapy is focused on healing unconscious defense mechanisms that result in repeated attack / defend cycles in relationships, helping the couples to learn to love differently and achieve the intimacy and cooperation they crave.
