More Info About My Practice
I have extensive experience working with returning veterans who may be experiencing symptoms of trauma. Trauma creates feelings of helplessness and intense fear accompanied by distressing memories of the traumatic event, the body's fight, flight, or freeze reaction, emotional numbing, and avoidance of thoughts and feelings related to the trauma. These feelings can result in social isolation and alienation. Trauma is often difficult to understand and affects relationships with family, friends, and co-workers.
