I believe that clients are the experts of their own experience. It's also my belief that my training and experience are only tools to offer clients as they work to gain insight into their family of origins, reflect on their own behaviors and the relationships they seek to improve in their lives. I also believe there is no one way to give birth or to parent and that both parents and children are individuals. Therefore, they should be treated and considered as individuals in the context of their own lives.
