My Approach to Helping

I am a licensed clinical social worker in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia, having received my MSW from the Virginia Commonwealth University. I work with adult individuals, couples and groups. My primary interests include: grief and loss (with an additional specialty in those experiencing pregnancy losses); infertility; life changes and transitions; shame and authenticity; anxiety, depression and other mood disorders; and LGBT concerns and issues. In my work with couples, I focus primarily on Imago techniques, which have been found to support and assist couples to reconnect and build stronger, healthier relationships. I also enjoy working with a variety of mind/body techniques to help reduce the daily stresses in our lives.
