My Approach to Helping
My psychotherapy approach meets the interpersonal & psychological needs of my clients. This consists of establishing a trusting relationship, psychoeducation (and assessment when necessary), building symptom management skills, and "deep therapeutic work" using a variety of interventions. As your issues or difficulties improve, new potentials and capabilities in life are limitless!

More Info About My Practice
In some situations, psychological testing is necessary, as it provides an in-depth view of one's issues and can lead to improvements in a variety of environments. I also specialize in evaluations for ADHD, behavioral or emotional disorders, cognitive or academic functioning, trauma impacts, personality assessment, and parental fitness.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

Ever since I was a teenager, I have been fascinated by people – their talents, interests, pet peeves and frustrations, relationships, etc. etc. The diversity of our human race is something to marvel and it is my genuine belief that we all have a purpose and something special to offer in life. Many people require support and encouragement in either understanding this purpose or getting back on life’s track; however, only few people actually seek the help to do so. I admire and value those who actually take this first step in mental health.
