My Approach to Helping

I believe that much of what leads people to feel dissatisfied or unhappy in their lives is a lack of meaning. Of course, we are all faced with life events that contribute to unhappiness, but we still often struggle how to work through those challenges in a meaningful and productive way. I specialize in helping people discover how to live a more satisfying, fulfilling, and rewarding life, even in the face of difficult life circumstances. I focus on raising personal awareness so that you may recognize and express your true self and values, allowing you to gain more satisfaction in your relationships, your career, and other important parts of your life. I use therapy as a place for individuals to practice interacting in a more conscious and authentic manner, and then assist them in translating these skills to their everyday lives.

More Info About My Practice

I also recognize that coming to therapy can sometimes be an intimidating thing to do, and one of my primary goals is to provide a safe, supportive, and confidential place for you to discuss those issues that are important to you. To accomplish this, I take a flexible approach that identifies interventions that best match your personality, personal history, and presenting issue. In this way, we collaborate to most effectively meet your needs.I look forward to meeting you and would welcome the chance to discuss any concerns or answer further questions you have about therapy in general or my therapy style or approach.
