I am sure there are a number of different ways that groups like this can come together, maybe through the suggestion of a therapist or maybe even community interest groups that bring people together who are experiencing the same issues and problems. This might not necessarily be a case of misery loves company but maybe birds of a feather do end up flocking together and I think this could be highly therapeutic for a good number of people. I do hope that most groups have a successful moderator who is able to help all pull everything together and make sense of things.

Are most groups like this formed purely by chance or should there be a rhyme or reason for putting together specific people?
