Stringent tests are conducted prior to FDA approval that must prove their effectiveness. All drugs are not the same and neither are we. That's my only explanation for medication helping different patients to different degrees. Or perhaps your belief that they will help is the decisive factor. I don't think my depression meds were much help either. Therapy could do her more good or a change of dosage or medication.
