My Approach to Helping

Welcome to my practice. My philosophy and approach to helping people relates to me and clients I have learned from. I am a licensed architect and, at a point in my life, was out of touch with my feelings. Traumas led me to growth groups and my own therapy. The beakthrough modality was psychodrama and I cleaned up the garbage of the past. The results were so exhilarating that I decided to pass on what I had learned. A psychodrama training program, an MA in Psychology, and licensing as a professional counselor (LPC) followed. Continued training led to the certitied designation of Trainer, Educator, and Practitioner (TEP) in Psychodrama, Sociometry, and Group Psychotherapy one of about 200 TEPs in the world. I have also been certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Level II. Please don't react negatively to the word, psychodrama, for the modality can be gentle and caring. I consider it to be the strongest, positive form of counseling. It has been used in every population and client concern. I also have skills in other counseling modalities and will use those most helpful to you.
