My Approach to Helping
I believe we all have the power to self heal and I approach clients to self-empower this healing from their soul (body). I support the client to tolerate and process barriers along the way. I approach families and relationships to align in balance and connection, looking out for energy, style of attachment or communication aspect interfering. In this, I coach and support the relationship towards security, which has the added benefit of increasing an individuals autonomy. I support parents in their struggle with a child's behavior.

Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist

The most important factor in choosing a therapist is feeling understood. If you can trust you will be heard and understood, you can put your faith in another to help you or a family member heal.

What I Say to People Concerned about the Therapy Process

I help clients resolve painful feelings without being overwhelmed by meeting the client where he or she is and providing tools for relief. In order to tolerate pain, one should feel safe and know that relief is available any moment needed. For example, say a client has a tight feeling in her chest but fears processing this. This is okay. The body will only heal on her timing. To help her through this, we rely on relaxation breathing and positive peaceful imagery to re-group and briefly feel the tightness - stepping back into peace at her request. The ability to sustain and presence this tightness, describe it, allows her up to let go, and let the soul's healing power inform her body. Repeating this process for other barriers to peace brings relief and transformation.
