How Psychotherapy Can Help

Feeling "understood" by another is essential to develop one's potential emotionally and psychologically. Many did not have that experience during ones early development. It is the goal in therapy to deeply understand ones clients in a way that they may have not felt understood before. In addition , it is essential to communicate that understanding of another's experience to onesclient in such a way that the client has the experience of "being understood"

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I am forever in awe of the human spirit. I am humbled by the hopefulness and resilience and desire for change people share with me. I see my self as their witness guiding them to discover their own process and embrace their true essence.
