My Approach to Helping
Do you want to live with more ease, joy, passion and purpose? Do family or work conflicts hinder you from living optimally? Are you troubled by anxiety, depression, obsessions, addictions or the stress of daily life?

The therapy process is designed to facilitate change and release one from pain and suffering. It is a collaborative process where we together address your concerns and navigate your journey from crisis to wellness.

My approach is integrative, drawing from Western psychology as well as Eastern meditative and mindfulness practices. My orientation is solution focused. My practice is culturally and ethnically diverse and includes individuals, couples, families and groups.

I believe in the resilience of the human spirit. Those who seek to understand themselves are already half way there. I enjoin with you on your process of knowing and being your best self and make my self available to help you achieve these goals.

More Info About My Practice
My fee is $150 for the first 50 minute hour to obtain a comprehensive initial assessment. Thereafter, the fee is $150 per 50 minute hour.

My office takes many insurances , though not all , so you would need to call my bookkeepers Tracy Freeze or Melissa Hamilton at 1 219-926-8320 with your insurance information to see if your insurance is accepted by my office. If so, please call your insurance company to obtain authorization before our first meeting. If I need to obtain your authorization please let me know before our first meeting.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Feeling "understood" by another is essential to develop one's potential emotionally and psychologically. Many did not have that experience during ones early development. It is the goal in therapy to deeply understand ones clients in a way that they may have not felt understood before. In addition , it is essential to communicate that understanding in such a way that the client has the experience of "being understood"
