My Approach to Helping
I offer gentle, supportive counseling and psychotherapy for people dealing with issues such as depression, anxiety, life changes, loss and grief, trauma, and family of origin issues. Working from a whole-person perspective, I help people reconnect with their inner resources and create more satisfying lives for themselves.

I work in an intuitive manner, paying attention to what's happening in the present moment as I sit with clients. This approach is based on the idea that our unresolved issues and unconscious patterns make themselves known to us in our moment-to-moment thoughts and feelings. I tailor my approach to the needs of each client and allow the work to proceed at a pace that feels safe and supportive.

My clients describe me as patient, accepting, and a good listener. I see my role as a collaborative partner and guide, and I believe that everyone has the potential to heal and create satisfying lives for themselves.
