My Approach to Helping
Life may seem out of control while you juggle your relationship, parenting and a career and when life gets stressful, people get overwhelmed in this high performance culture. Sometimes stress spills over and damages our most cherished relationships. Perhaps you love your partner but the two of you just can't relate the way you used to. You may want to pay close attention to these indicators. If you're smart, successful and driven, yet when you talk with your partner, you feel hopeless when s/he tunes you out or walks away -- this is another big, red flag. It's a signal that a crisis on the horizon. You and your partner can probably turn things around using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). It's the most effective, evidence-based method available to couples today. I specialize in EFT and relationship issues and work without judgment or taking sides. Together we can find new and creative solutions to old problems and put your relationship back on track.
Don't give up. Today almost everyone faces serious challenges to relationship stability. When this results in anger, loneliness, isolation, anxiety or despair it's time to take action. Connecting with your partner is more possible today than ever before. I encourage you to take action and step into the life and the relationship you so richly deserve.
