My Approach to Helping
I believe each individual is unique and worthy. My approach is gentle and client-centered --I know how to listen. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), EAGALA model Equine Assisted Therapy, and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy). I have over 10 years experience working with individuals and families of all ages and life experiences. Meeting you where you are and helping you to get what you need from therapy is what I do. I can help you discover your authentic self and begin to generate joy again in your life.

Life is full of stress and change, and sometimes it is hard to make sense of it all. Reaching out for help is characteristic of individual and family resilience. I welcome you to contact me and begin living more fully aware of your own strengths.

I can relate to individuals of all backgrounds and life stories. Part of my experience includes helping elders in families write their life stories through personal interviews which are then transcribed and produced as a family treasure. Also I have worked with families struggling with family caregiving decisions and responsibilities.
